Right of Cancellation

You can cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reasons by giving notice of the cancellation in writing (e.g. by letter, fax or email) or – if you have received the ordered items before expiry of that period – by returning the items. The cancellation period commences with receipt of this information in writing, however not before the recipient has received the items (or, if there are repeated delivery of similar items, not before the recipient has received delivery of the first part) and also not before we have complied with our obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 246 Section 2 in combination with Section 1 paras. 1 and 2 of the Introductory Act to the German Civil Code (EGBGB).
Providing notice of cancellation or returning the items within the specified period constitutes complying with the cancellation period.

Consequences of cancellation

If the cancellation is effective, the items and payments received by both parties must be returned and, where appropriate, any benefit received (e.g. interest) must be returned. If you are not able to return the items received or benefits (e.g. benefits of use) or can only return them in part or only in a poorer condition, you will be obliged to compensate us for the depreciation in value.
You will only be obliged to compensate us for benefits of use if you used the items delivered in a manner which exceeded the usual testing of characteristics and functionality of the items. "Testing of the characteristics and functionality of the items" is understood to mean testing and trying out the respective items to the extent possible and customary in a retail outlet.
Items which can be returned by parcel can be sent back at our own risk. You must bear the standard costs of return if the delivered items are those you ordered and the price of the items you are returning does not exceed 40 Euros or if – when you return a higher priced item – you have not yet paid for the item or made the contractually agreed part payment for it. Otherwise the return is free of charge. Items which cannot be sent by parcel will be collected from your premises.
Obligations to return payment must be complied with within 30 days. This period starts for you with the date of your sending your notice of cancellation or returning the item; the period starts for us when we have received delivery of the returned item.

Exclusion of the right of cancellation

The customer has no right of cancellation or return for items which were designed according to the customer‘s specifications or which were clearly tailor-made to the customer’s personal requirements and are therefore included the exceptions listed in section 312d para. 4 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
